Hello! I’m Hansol, a native Korean speaker born and living in Korea. I currently run my own consulting business, so I understand both everyday Korean communication and the importance of clear, polite language in professional situations.
I became interested in teaching Korean through a language exchange with an international friend. While helping my friend with Korean expressions, pronunciation, honorifics, and natural sentence corrections, I learned that many things that feel obvious to native speakers can be difficult for learners.
I am also learning English, so I understand how frustrating it can feel when you know the words but cannot speak confidently. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I am patient, attentive, and organized. I will listen without constantly interrupting you, carefully record the points that need improvement, and explain them clearly afterward. My goal is to provide friendly lessons that also produce practical and visible progress.

I offer personalized one-on-one Korean lessons for complete beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, and students who need Korean for travel, daily conversation, dramas, or work.
Before our first lesson, you can tell me what you want to learn and share any expressions or situations you want to practice. I will prepare a lesson plan based on your goals, and we can adjust it together during the lesson.
My lessons focus on three things: what was confusing in today’s lesson, what still needs practice from previous lessons, and how to use what you learned in a real situation. You can bring a message from a Korean person, an expression you heard in a drama, or a sentence you need for work. I will explain not only its meaning, but also its tone, nuance, and similar expressions.
I will not constantly interrupt you while you are speaking. Instead, I will write down sentences that need correction and review them with you afterward, so you can speak comfortably while still receiving clear feedback.
After each lesson, I provide personalized review notes and homework. My goal is to make every lesson friendly and comfortable, while ensuring that you always leave with something practical you can use.
