Hello! My name is Seung-Hyeok, and I am a native Korean tutor who was born and raised in Seoul.
I studied in the United States during my childhood and later moved to Canada at the age of 17 to continue my studies. Through my own experience of learning a new language, I understand how challenging and intimidating it can feel to communicate in a foreign language. At first, I was afraid of making mistakes when speaking, but through consistent practice and real conversations, I was able to build confidence. Because of this experience, I truly understand the difficulties Korean learners may face.
My lessons are customized based on each student's goals, level, and learning style. During our first lesson, we will have a simple level check and conversation to understand your current Korean ability and what you would like to achieve. Then, we will create a personalized learning plan that helps you improve in the most effective way.
I hope to become not only your Korean tutor, but also your first Korean friend who supports and encourages you throughout your language learning journey.
