Seung-Hyeok 튜터님 소개

Hello! My name is Seung-Hyeok, and I am a native Korean tutor who was born and raised in Seoul.
I studied in the United States during my childhood and later moved to Canada at the age of 17 to continue my studies. Through my own experience of learning a new language, I understand how challenging and intimidating it can feel to communicate in a foreign language. At first, I was afraid of making mistakes when speaking, but through consistent practice and real conversations, I was able to build confidence. Because of this experience, I truly understand the difficulties Korean learners may face.
My lessons are customized based on each student's goals, level, and learning style. During our first lesson, we will have a simple level check and conversation to understand your current Korean ability and what you would like to achieve. Then, we will create a personalized learning plan that helps you improve in the most effective way.
I hope to become not only your Korean tutor, but also your first Korean friend who supports and encourages you throughout your language learning journey.

수업 소개

I offer personalized Korean lessons for every level, from complete beginners to advanced learners.
My lessons include: Hangul and beginner Korean
️ Practical Korean for travel
️ Daily conversation & pronunciation correction
Korean through K-dramas and K-POP
TOPIK preparation
Business Korean and workplace expressions
With about 10 years of experience working in Korean companies, I can also help you learn real Korean expressions and workplace culture that are difficult to learn from textbooks.
I can explain in English and provide simple explanations in Japanese, so beginners can feel comfortable starting Korean.
My goal is to help you not only study Korean, but actually speak and use it with confidence.

I highly recommend Seung-Hyeok as a Korean tutor.
He is not only a native Korean speaker but also someone who truly understands the challenges of learning a new language.
Having studied abroad in the US and Canada, Seung-Hyeok knows how difficult it can feel to communicate in another language. Because of his own experience, he creates a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students can speak without fear of making mistakes.
He explains Korean in a very clear and practical way, focusing on real conversations, pronunciation, and expressions that native Koreans actually use. I believe he will be a great tutor for anyone who wants to learn Korean naturally while also experiencing Korean culture.
