My teaching style is simple: practical, natural, and fun. I focus on real, everyday Korean — the kind you'd actually hear in a coffee shop, at work, or chatting with friends — rather than stiff textbook phrases.
Each lesson is built around conversation. We'll pick topics you're genuinely interested in — daily life, hobbies, work, culture, K-dramas, whatever keeps you engaged — and use them to naturally build vocabulary, grammar, and confidence. I correct mistakes gently and explain the "why" behind grammar points, so you actually understand the logic instead of just memorizing rules.
As a working professional myself (I'm a licensed tax accountant), I know how valuable time is, so I keep lessons efficient, well-structured, and focused on what actually helps you improve — no filler, no wasted time.
Whether you're just starting out or already comfortable with basic conversation, I'll adjust the pace and content to match your level and goals. My aim is simple: help you leave every lesson feeling like you actually used Korean, not just studied it.

Hi there! I'm a certified tax accountant in Korea, and in my free time, I love sharing my language and culture with people around the world.
I'm not a full-time teacher — and I think that's actually a good thing! Since I work a regular job, I bring a very real, practical, everyday kind of Korean to our lessons, not just textbook phrases. My goal is to help you speak Korean the way people actually talk in daily life, with topics that are fun and relatable: ordering food, small talk with coworkers, weekend plans, K-dramas, whatever comes up naturally in conversation.
My lessons are relaxed and conversational rather than strict or exam-focused. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, laugh a little, and leave each session having actually used Korean, not just studied it. Whether you're a total beginner or already comfortable chatting, I'll adjust to your level and interests.
Since I teach around my work schedule, I usually have limited but consistent time slots available — so lessons with me tend to feel more like a chat with a friend than a formal class.
