Hi! I'm Young, your empathetic, patient, and dedicated Korean tutor.
I don't believe in rigid, copy-paste curriculum. Every single student comes with unique goals, different learning speeds, and distinct preferences. That's why 100% of my lessons are fully customized to fit YOU—with a strong focus on real-life conversation!
--------------------------------------------------
WHY CHOOSE ME AS YOUR TUTOR?
--------------------------------------------------
1. Deep Empathy for Language Learners:
In my 20s, I moved to Canada all by myself with zero support and limited English. I had to learn the language from scratch to survive and adapt to a new culture. I truly understand how intimidating, overwhelming, or lonely it can feel to learn a new language. I am here to cheer you on every step of the way!
2. Proven Language Learning Hacks:
Because I mastered English through self-study and survival, I know the exact shortcuts, tips, and methods to learn a foreign language easily, efficiently, and enjoyably.
3. Professional Business Background (4 Years in Trading):
Working at an international trading company for 4 years, I regularly communicated with global buyers. I know how native Koreans actually speak in professional settings.
4. Teaching Experience & Kid-Friendly Approach:
I worked as an English academy instructor for 1.5 years and I am also a mother. I know how to hold attention, make lessons engaging, and build great rapport with kids and teenagers!
--------------------------------------------------
CUSTOMIZED LESSON PLANS FOR EVERY GOAL
--------------------------------------------------
No matter your level, we will skip boring memorization and jump straight into practical practice:
- Absolute Beginners: We’ll start by easily mastering Hangul (reading Korean alphabet), then build basic sentences step-by-step.
- Travel Preparation: Quick, essential role-playing sessions for dining, shopping, transportation, and navigating Korea smoothly.
- Business Korean: Role-playing real office and trade scenarios using authentic K-Drama clips and my 5 years of real corporate work experience!
- Custom Learning Style: Prefer visual aids, media, or structured conversation? Just tell me, and I will tailor every session to your style.
--------------------------------------------------
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
--------------------------------------------------
- Absolute Beginners to Advanced Learners who want to focus on CONVERSATION over dry grammar.
- Professionals or job seekers looking for real, practical Business Korean.
- Kids and Teenagers who need a warm, friendly, and patient guide.
- Anyone looking for a safe space to practice speaking without fear of making mistakes!
Let's make your Korean learning journey fun and meaningful together. I look forward to meeting you in class!
