Hello, my name is Tsengel. I am a mathematics student at Korea University and an experienced math tutor. I competed in Mongolia’s National Math Olympiad, earning multiple medals and ranking in the top five nationally in my graduating year. I also achieved a perfect 800 on SAT Math. Over the past two years, I have helped students with SAT Math, IB and advanced high school mathematics. I am patient, clear and goal focused in my teaching. I explain concepts step by step, teach practical test strategies, and adapt my approach to each student’s learning style. I regularly update students and parents on progress and next steps. I teach in English and am available near Korea University or online.

I teach SAT Math and advanced high school mathematics such as IB and Cambridge in English. I have experience competing in national math olympiads and scored 800 on SAT Math. For over two years, I have tutored students preparing for SAT, IB and advanced math courses.
My teaching style is structured but highly personalized. We go through all SAT Math topics step by step, including algebra, advanced algebra, data analysis and geometry. Each lesson includes concept explanation, strategy discussion, guided practice, timed questions and homework. I mainly use official SAT style questions and carefully selected problem sets to build both accuracy and speed.
At the beginning, I give a diagnostic to understand the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Based on this, I create a study plan with clear goals and timelines. Every few weeks, we do timed sections or full practice tests to track progress and adjust the focus. Most of my past students improved significantly, with many scoring over 700 in SAT Math and several increasing their scores by around 200 points within two months.
I believe different students need different teaching methods. Some students improve best with structure and constant practice, while others need guidance and clear direction. I discuss learning style and goals with both students and parents so we can choose the most effective approach together.
