KYUJIN 튜터님 소개
Hi, I’m Kyujin—a native Korean speaker who knows what it feels like to live and work in another country.
I have spent three years working in Germany as an expatriate service engineer with Hyundai Motor. Working with people from different countries has made me comfortable communicating across cultures. My wife is Canadian, so communication across languages and cultures is part of my personal life, too.
I have helped foreign friends practice Korean, and I believe learning a language becomes more meaningful when you can use it to express yourself and connect with people. I enjoy helping someone turn a new word or sentence into a conversation they can actually have.
As your tutor, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again. I bring an open mind, patience, and respect for your background and experiences.
Our café lessons will focus on Korean that matters to your life as a university student or working adult in Korea. I can explain in English when you need support and adjust the balance of Korean and English to your level.
Tell me about your life in Korea and the conversations you want to have. We’ll start there and practice together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Feel more comfortable using Korean in your everyday life and at work.
I offer relaxed, one-to-one Korean lessons at cafés in Seoul for international university students and working adults living in Korea. My goal is to help you learn useful Korean and feel comfortable putting it into practice.
My lessons focus on building vocabulary and practicing complete sentences. We will read useful sentences aloud, explore their meaning, and practice adapting them to your own situations. Topics can include ordering food, getting to know people, talking about university life, and communicating with colleagues. I explain grammar when it helps you understand or express something, while keeping plenty of time for conversation and practice.
I adjust the balance of Korean and English to your level. If you need extra support, I can explain in English. As you become more comfortable, we can gradually use more Korean. You are welcome to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at your own pace.
I have three years of experience working in Germany as an expatriate with Hyundai Motor, so I understand the challenges of living and working abroad. My wife is Canadian, and communicating across cultures is part of my everyday life. I have also helped foreign friends learn Korean. These experiences shape the openness, patience, and respect I bring to my lessons.
We will discuss your current level, interests, and goals, then choose vocabulary and situations that are relevant to your life in Korea.
Lessons can be arranged up to four times per week, with each session lasting one to three hours. The frequency and duration are flexible within my availability:
• Weekdays: after 7:00 p.m.
• Saturdays: between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Sundays: by arrangement.
We can agree on a convenient café near Seoul Subway Line 2. Whether you want to connect with people around you or communicate more comfortably at work, we can practice the Korean you need together.
