Meet Your English Piano & Music Teacher
Hello! I’m Sharon, a Canadian-raised piano and music teacher with a strong background in music education, performance, and teaching. I speak English fluently and have many years of experience teaching piano and music to students of different ages and skill levels.
I studied music at the University of Calgary and have completed Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) training. Over the years, I have taught piano, music theory, and practical musicianship, helping students develop both their technical skills and confidence.
My lessons are taught entirely in English, making them a great choice for students who want to improve their English communication skills while learning piano and music. I explain concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way and encourage students to ask questions, have conversations, and express themselves through music.
I also have over 10 years of experience owning and managing businesses in Canada, giving me extensive experience communicating with people from different backgrounds.
Whether you are a beginner, an experienced player, a child, or an adult, I will create lessons around your level, interests, and goals.

What You’ll Learn in Our English Piano & Music Lessons
Learn piano and music theory entirely in English in a fun, relaxed, and practical environment! These lessons are designed for children, teenagers, and adults who want to improve their piano skills while becoming more comfortable communicating and understanding music in English.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of piano playing, including proper technique, rhythm, notes, scales, chords, and reading music. We’ll also explore chord progressions, accompaniment, playing by ear, improvisation, and popular songs so you can actually enjoy making music rather than simply memorizing exercises.
Throughout the lesson, all instructions, explanations, musical terms, and conversations are conducted in English. This gives students a natural opportunity to build their English listening and speaking skills while learning something they enjoy.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already play piano, lessons can be customized to your level and interests.
