As a native Korean speaker and a graduate of Theatre Directing and Playwriting, I have a strong understanding of natural Korean dialogue, expressions, and storytelling. My background in arts education has also taught me how to adapt my teaching approach to different learners.
I don’t believe there is one perfect way to learn Korean. That’s why I create lessons around your level, goals, and interests. Whether you love K-pop, K-dramas, Korean history, culture, travel, or simply want to have natural conversations, I’ll help you turn what you enjoy into a learning opportunity.

My teaching method is based on one simple idea: the most important part of learning a language is staying interested and motivated.
In the first lesson, we will begin with a level assessment and a relaxed self-introduction to break the ice. I will learn about your Korean level, learning goals, interests, and preferred learning style. Based on this, I will create a personalized lesson plan for our future classes.
For example, if you love K-pop, we can use songs and lyrics to learn vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and natural expressions. If you enjoy K-dramas, we can study dialogue and expressions from drama scenes. If you are interested in Korean history or culture, I can create lessons around those topics. We can also focus on practical Korean for travel, everyday conversations, or topics you personally enjoy.
As a graduate of Theatre Directing and Playwriting, I have developed a strong understanding of dialogue, storytelling, and natural Korean expressions. This allows me to help students understand not only what a Korean expression means, but also how and when native speakers actually use it.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and anyone who wants to improve their conversational Korean in a comfortable and personalized environment. My goal is to make every lesson useful, engaging, and connected to your interests.
