Hello, I’m Hyun, a Korean tutor from South Korea
I have experience working as a badminton coach and in the airline industry, which helped me develop strong communication skills with people from different backgrounds. I have also taught many international students, especially around Seoul National University
Through my experience, I realized that many learners struggle not because they don’t study enough, but because they study the wrong materials. Many textbooks still teach outdated or unnatural expressions that native Koreans rarely use in real life
That’s why my focus is simple
helping you understand how Koreans actually speak and helping you feel confident using Korean in real conversations
I respect students who keep studying consistently, and I do my best to support their progress in a comfortable and friendly environment. You don’t need to feel pressured or afraid of making mistakes
I speak English and Chinese, so I can explain clearly when needed, especially for beginners

While teaching international students near Seoul National University, I noticed that many students spend too much time studying outdated textbook expressions that native Koreans rarely use in real life. That is why my lessons focus on natural, practical, and efficient Korean
In class, we practice real conversation, pronunciation, grammar, useful expressions, and natural sentence flow. I correct your mistakes clearly and explain why a Korean sentence sounds natural or awkward. You can ask the same question many times without pressure
Lessons are customized to your level and goals, whether you want daily conversation, travel Korean, TOPIK preparation, pronunciation correction, or more confidence when speaking
I can also explain in English or Chinese when needed, so beginners can feel comfortable too
My goal is to help you speak Korean more naturally and confidently, not just memorize textbook sentences
